Tiko’s spiritual journey was filled with a deep hunger for truth, which led him to be baptized in three different denominations: the Apostolic Church, the Methodist Church, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Each step along the way, he sought to fill the longing in his heart, hoping that with each baptism, he would finally find the truth he was seeking. But despite these efforts, he found himself still restless, still searching for something that felt right in his soul.
There were times when Tiko would cry out in frustration, asking, “Why am I still seeking the truth? Why can’t I just settle in my faith and find peace?” This inner conflict weighed heavily on him. Tiko wanted to follow Jesus Christ with all his heart, but he was confused about what was the true Sabbath and how to live out his faith in a way that aligned with His teachings. The confusion became overwhelming, and eventually, he made the difficult decision to stop going to church altogether. He stayed home, lost in uncertainty, feeling stuck in a spiritual wilderness.
For eight long years, he remained in this state of confusion and isolation. But even though he wasn’t attending church, he never stopped praying. Tiko continually asked God to guide him to the right path, to lead him to the church where he could find true teachings and worship Him in spirit and in truth. His heart longed for a place where his faith could be rooted and where he could grow closer to God.

Then, one day, something unexpected happened. A friend shared a post from Adventist World Radio with him, and as he read through it, something stirred deep inside of him. He said, “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. This was exactly what I had been yearning for all those years!” The teachings resonated with him in a way nothing else had before. It felt like God had finally answered his prayers, revealing to him the truth he had been seeking for so long. Tears of joy flowed as he realized that this was the moment he had been waiting for.
After eight years of staying home, he made plans to join a church that aligns with the truths he has found. Not just for himself, but for his family as well, so they can grow together in their faith and relationship with God. Looking back, he realize that his journey, though filled with struggles and confusion, has led him to this point of clarity and hope. And for that, he is truly grateful.
