“A Thousand Falls, Unfailing Love” – Nathan Lausberg

“It’s okay to fall; don’t lose your way; God won’t cast you far away. A thousand times, yet still He stays, with open arms, His love remains.” Hebrews 7:25 reminds us, “Therefore, he is able to save completely those who come to God through Him because he always lives to intercede for them.”

Nathan’s journey as a Christian began on July 1, 2021. Raised as an Adventist, he understood God’s justice but struggled with grace and Jesus’ love. He felt burdened by judgment, saying, “God is perfect, and I’m not. I felt the conviction of my sin, but I didn’t understand what Jesus offered me. When I understood grace, it transformed how I see God.” At a Youth Conference, Nathan opened his heart to God’s grace and felt a call to seek Him. He questioned, “Am I ready?” And tried to improve himself before approaching Christ, which led to frustration. But God reminded him through Hebrews 4:16: “Let us then approach God ‘s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

As he grew in faith, Nathan felt a burden to share Jesus. He desired to tell the world about God’s Amazing Grace. He used everyday moments, like Uber rides, to talk about God. In the Philippines, after joining AWR CDE as a Digital Missionary, he sat with a taxi driver who only spoke Tagalog. Nathan read Bible verses in Tagalog, trusting the Holy Spirit to work through them. This reminded him of 1 Corinthians 2:4-5: “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so your faith might rest on God’s power.”

God’s calling is about sharing and experiencing Him. Nathan sees the Bible as the key to knowing Jesus and nature as a reflection of God’s selfless love. All details and designs reveal God’s love. “Everything is made from love. God’s work comes from love, and nature shows selflessness.”, he affirms.

How many times have you fallen? If God could transform Nathan’s life, He can do the same for you. You may stumble, but it’s not the end. Rise again and walk with Jesus.
